Garden Relation???

Reading through the part where Margaret and Faust were walking the garden, I immediately thought of Milton and the Garden of Eden. When Margaret had accepted her fate and the wrath, she was then saved. I wonder if Adam and Eve had been in that same place. Terrified before God, they are ready to accept their fate, which they think is destruction. Instead of death, they were met with a delayed death. My question is as follows? Is accepting your fate when their is no possible way out noble? Is it not just settling?? Sorry for the slightly random post, reading this and thinking of other stuff in the world has brought me to this question. Where does a noble and pious person come out in a proper sense?? Where do we draw the line??

P.S. I commented on Sophia's and Nate's posts
