A Hella Good Time
So yeah yeah Margarita has gone insane and we can come back to that, but what was up with Hella giving the man a beret, then a kitten, and offering him a sword?? The sword threw me off. It's not the first time in the story a sword has come up in a weird way, but this one really confused me. Any thoughts?
Back to Margarita's crazy cream and adventure. Does the cream have some equivalence to wicked pixie dust? I sort of imagined the Darling children circling around Peter Pan and a less-than-happy Tinker Bell as "Think of a Wonderful Thought" played in the background. Just me? Okay. Also something I noticed, the creepy staring dude who turned into a pig...I know it was because he was swine for lusting after a naked woman, but did anyone else think of Animal Farm? I just thought it was interesting.
Last thing, the parallels to Faust are ridiculous. We skipped the witches ball in Faust, but that's exactly what part of this reminds me of.
I commented on Noah and Phillip's posts.
